The City Council consists of the Mayor and five elected at large council members. The City Council meets monthly to discuss important matters and make decisions regarding city improvement. They create local laws, approve budgets and work on policies that affect things like housing, public safety, transportation and parks throughout our community. They represent the interests of the community and work to improve life for the people of Flatonia. City Council Meetings are open to the public and meeting agendas are posted at City Hall in accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 551 as well as online here.
